A bus driver with a commercial driver’s license (CDL) was recently charged with DUI and faced the loss of his job if his license was suspended. Knowing he couldn’t work without a CDL, he wanted to pursue all available options, which would likely include either obtaining a not guilty verdict on the DUI charge or an amendment to a lesser offense like reckless driving. Knowing the man’s severe situation and despite a breathalyzer test, which was allegedly over the legal limit, experienced Chicago DUI lawyer Michael O’Meara fought for the best possible result, which in the end, saved his CDL and his job. The charge was reduced to a reckless driving and his license suspension was rescinded.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
