IL v. MH
O’Meara Law LLC recently represented a Cook County client with aggravated criminal sexual assault, home invasion and aggravated battery charges against him. At once, the Chicago resident sought out Chicago criminal defense and DUI attorney Michael O’Meara to fight these pending charges.

The alleged victim in this unfortunate situation accused O’Meara’s client of punching her in the face and choking her to the point of where she was almost killed. The victim also alleged permanent disfigurement to her face and that she was raped. Attorney O’Meara took an aggressive approach to the allegations against his client and was determined to see a positive result. O’Meara advocated strongly on behalf of his client, arguing that his client was only acting in self-defense and that the sex was consensual. After a four-day jury trial, the man was given a not guilty verdict on all three charges. The jury deliberated for only three and a half hours prior to announcing the not guilty verdict. Attorney Michael O’Meara’s client was grateful for the outcome he received.
